Connor is a precious, 8-year-old boy with severe, nonverbal autism, seizure disorder, auditory processing disorder, sensory integration dysfunction, and a host of other bio-neurological issues that impact his ability to learn and function independently. Each time Connor has a major seizure event, he loses much of the ground he has gained in acquired skills. Connor is a brilliant, very teachable child, who has the opportunity to improve significantly with access to the right interventions and medical care/equipment.
We are seeking the following for Connor:
$2,700.00 for a biomodulator device that regulates Connor's cell voltage & pH, and helps reduce and often eliminate seizure activity, as well as improve the bio-neurological issues that effect his functioning.
$500.00 for the biomodulator accessories that allow him to wear the device 24/7, to maintain constant, increased cell voltage, reducing and possibly eliminating seizure activity.
$1,715.00 for medications and supplements to address his health issues.
The parents live in a rural area and have very limited funding resources.
Both parents work full time and are struggling to support a family of 5, without even adding Connor's additional medical needs. These are the hardest working people I've met, and THEY NEED HELP!
I'm asking everyone to prayerfully consider what you can do to help Connor's family in affording the medical interventions he needs. No amount is too small! If we all pitch in, BIG THINGS CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED!
** A joint checking account is being set up with the family and myself, to insure the funds will go where they are designated. Neither party can access or distribute funding without BOTH parties signatures.
This is VERY important to me, as we live in a world where integrity is often lacking. Transparency and accountability in this process are a necessity and the books will be open for review upon request.
