Purity is from Kimende and is 13 years old. Her parents separated in 2007, and she has since stayed with her mother and grandmother. When Purity was in primary school, her mother was able to cover her school fees, but as she got older, her funds were cut short - in large part because they were going to support her brother, who is mentally challenged. Her father was also helping out with school fees for some time, until he got remarried at which point he stopped. Purity has a lot of kindness, and takes pride in being able to be supportive to those close to her in difficult times.
Purity loves to dance, and also enjoys playing basketball. She is an avid reader, and has dreams of one day becoming a journalist. With the right resources now at her fingertips, Purity finally has the opportunity to act on her ideas and expand her knowledge.
