BENEFITING: GARRISON INSTITUTE
Every day humanitarian aid and human rights workers face challenging and dangerous conditions in conflict and disaster zones around the world. As they serve others in crisis, they are exposed to chronic stress and trauma, which can lead to exhaustion and burnout.
The Contemplative-Based Resilience (CBR) PROJECT provides aid workers with tools to counteract stress through a highly effective training that integrates meditation, yoga, and psycho-social education in a restorative retreat setting. Through our CBR training, they gain essential skills to maintain resilience no matter where they are or what they’re doing.
You can help aid workers from around the world to attend our CBR training this August. Your donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar by an anonymous donor up to $15,000.
