Since my childhood, I have been thinking about people and their problems. I got tired of seeing inequality, poverty and constant political problems happening in the world. They have touched my family, friends and citizens of my country (Russia). People suffer every day and in all the countries. It is not right and this must be changed. That is why I have chosen to devote my life to serving people and to become a psychologist. That is why I am studying in the college aimed to teach students to do good for others and that is why I have applied and have been accepted to the EYP session which will be happening in August in Slovenia. During this session , I and other 120 students from all around the Europe will discuss problems, which the European Union and its citizens have encountered and we will try to find a solution for these problems. This is important for me as the EU is a big machine and so many people even those who are not the EU citizens depend on its decisions. So I think that during this session we, teenagers will be able to do something for people by looking for possible solutions of the big problems. I would love to be there and try to contribute to the European political and social development. However, my family can not pay for it because of poor financial circumstances which it has encountered a long time ago and which so many families in my country have. The cost of the program is 70€. However, airplane tickets are very expensive. Their cost to both ends is 430€. I would be tremendously grateful if you allow me to go to the session and to do something for PEOPLE.
