Received a call on Sunday from my sister who is 54 years old single and not really doing too well. You see she has COPD and was in the emergency room on Saturday and was told that she has a mass the size of 6 centimeters in the upper right quadrant of her lung. And I know that she's not the only person who's ever have a challenge before. What makes this so unique is I myself found out I was BRACA2 with breast cancer my brother is BRACA 2 with breast cancer and now my sister has possible lung cancer on top of COPD. To add insult to injury she is unemployed and no insurance and is having to stay at someone's house who is ready for her to leave so this is something that happens to be very dear to my heart being able to help my sister even though I wish I could financially I need help she needs help. She has to fill out paperwork for gold card before she can go to MD Anderson and have any further testing and any treatment and this is why we need your help to be able to provide something for her something for her to be able to afford medication something for her to be able to get to her treatment. I was a patient at MD Anderson even with insurance I still had a hard time getting my bills paid when you have to have treatment and you're there almost 5 days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. it's really hard to try to work and try to get yourself better. Please find it in your heart to help any amount will do we greatly appreciate it
