Thank you so much for your generous donation supporting the 2015 Boston Marathon. Nashoba Learning Group (NLG) was thrilled to have four runners take part in the 119th Boston Marathon. Because of you, the runners were able to raise over 23,000 for individuals with Autism. The runners and NLG thank you for your donation which truly is life changing for those we serve.

Each individual achievement of our 90 students and 25 adult members is a cause for celebration and the result of all the passion, skill and creativity that our amazing teaching staff pours into each individual’s learning every single day. We are proud of our reputation as the school and now the adult program that enables individuals with autism to become successful, motivated learners and contributors to the community. Our goal is that each individual we serve achieves their full potential. To do that we provide intensive, customized and motivating programs using proven teaching techniques and encompassing all skill areas, and find, train, and develop an outstanding staff to deliver those programs.

For each of the individuals we serve, and many others, we are their best chance at achieving their potential. There is an overwhelming need for the services we provide. In addition to continuing to provide quality service to those we serve directly, we extend our reach by sharing our innovative programming through our internet portal. Our new Adult Program is poised for growth to provide needed work and community support to those with autism. Nashoba Learning Group (NLG) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, so your contribution, for which you did not receive any goods or services, is fully tax deductible. Our tax identification number for your records is 01-0672424.

We are so appreciative for your support for our mission. Your generosity pays lifelong dividends for individuals with autism and their families.

Gratefully,

Dear Friends, family and col…
Dear Friends, family and colleagues,

With a heavy heart we give you thanks for all your texts, emails and phone calls as well as your donations to our charity, HOPE. We appreciate not only your thoughts and prayers but the amazing sense of community and compassion that has surrounded us since Monday. We are ever so thankful that we are safe, that a minute or two and a city block kept us from harm’s way and that our children were delayed in arriving at their usual spots by the finish line. We grieve and will continue to grieve for the lives lost, for the injured and for the innocence in believing that a marathon such as Boston’s was too special for something like this to ever happen here. Even in the midst of chaos the people of Boston showed their mettle. So many strangers approached us that day; they did not run away from danger but came towards it. They offered water, blankets, food and shelter and most importantly a way to contact family members to let them know we were all right. The first responders, volunteers, and BAA staff did what they were trained to do and so much more. We are immensely proud of our city. If the House of Possibilities will have us again we are more determined than ever to run next year and finish what was stolen from us this year. This marathon, this city, this community deserves much more than the cowardly actions of a few on Monday afternoon and we only hope that you will join us again in 2014 in making sure that they know it. Sincerely, Rafael and Lisa

Hi Everyone,
I did my small part to make a difference but you all deserve all the credit in the world for chipping in so together we could literally touch thousands of lives! The run itself was both inspiring and humbling with many daily obstacles to overcome. Even though every step carried me further from home I could always feel your energy and support . Thank you very much for being part of my efforts!

Sincerely,

Gary Allen
PS I am starting work on a book about what I experienced in every step of those amazing 705.2 miles please watch for it and keep watching www.maine2dcrun.com or the linked social media pages found there.
