I'm proud to be a member of Coptic Solidarity, an organization that advocates for equal civil rights and religious freedom for the Christians and all other minorities in Egypt and the Middle East.
Since its inception, Coptic Solidarity has diligently worked to bring to light the issue of the persecution of Christians and other minorities in Egypt and the Middle East. Through its advocacy work, annual conferences on Capitol Hill, and meetings with Congressmen and Senators to inform them of the situation of the Copts in Egypt; the ongoing persecution, the church burning, destruction of personal property, daily harassment and the kidnapping and forced conversions of Coptic women.
Despite meager resources we have succeeded in raising the awareness of senators, congressmen, think tanks and policy makers of the need for equal civil rights and religious freedom for all citizens of Egypt if democracy is to succeed in the region.
We are dedicated to our cause but need your help and support to continue our work. The role of the Copts and their survival in vital if Christianity is to survive in its cradle in the Middle East. Your support and generosity can make a difference in helping us achieve our goals. We appreciate any contribution you could make to help Christians in Egypt and the Middle East survive.
