THE CORPS NETWORK's Fundraiser:

The Corps Network is helping foster the next greatest generation of Americans who want to serve their country and improve their lives. 

We are doing this through establishing a new Youth Council. We believe it is critical to solicit and include the input and ideas of the young people we serve.  Therefore, through this campaign, we are seeking donations to develop our 2015 Corpsmembers of the Year into spokespeople who can influence programs and policy here at The Corps Network, as well as at the federal, state, and local level.   These young people are the best ambassadors for telling our story. The funds we raise will help offset their travel costs to Washington, D.C and allow these bright young adults to make their voice heard at the national level, get in front of important decision makers, and help steer the future of America's Service and Conservation Corps.

The Corps Network (TCN), a 501(c)3 non-profit, is the national association of America's more than 100 Service and Conservation Corps (Corps) which enroll more than 25,000 youth and young adults annually. For more than three decades, TCN has been providing training, technical assistance, and funding opportunities to member Corps as they deliver youth and young adult programs utilizing the “Corps Model.” Grounded in the model and philosophy of the Civilian Conservation Corps of the 1930s, the Corps Model provides a variety of educational, workforce development, and supportive services, through service projects designed to improve communities’ public lands and the environment.

The Corps Model is unique because it provides essential services like education, workforce development, and supportive services while Corpsmembers gain work-experience on meaningful projects in their communities or on public lands. The Corps Model is a proven strategy for reengaging opportunity youth by providing comprehensives services and work-based learning opportunities in thriving fields.
