BENEFITING: AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY
EVENT DATE: Nov 07, 2010
This November I will be running in the New York City Marathon... 26.2 MILES!!! Some say I am crazy... some say good luck... and some say why?!? I have always wanted to run a marathon, but was always too nervous to actually TRY. The world is an amazing place if you allow yourself to venture out of your "comfort zone". Life is about the journey... the failures and the successes... and the memories that we make along the way.
Once I decided to run the NYC Marathon, I knew I wanted to run for a cause. Over the past couple of years my wife and I have lost some very special people in our lives to Cancer. It is a disease that affects everyone in one way or another.
I am running this marathon in honor of those we have lost, but in particular my Grandfather, Biaggio Corradino. He was a man who lived life with style and enthusiasm. When he was diagnosed with Cancer, he endured the treatments and always stayed positive. He was a leader in every sense of the word. During training, he keeps the wind at my back and always inspires me to keep going.
Please help me raise money for this great cause… the funds you raise will
help people stay well, get well, find cures and fight back against cancer.
My GOAL is to raise at least $2000... so every little bit helps!
