The Clinical Mental Health Graduate Counseling Program at South University is dedicated to increasing awareness regarding mental health and promoting resilency and recovery for a life of wellness. Mental illness ranges from anxiety or depression to PTSD, Bipolar, and Schizophrenia. In recognizing that 1 out of every 4 adults will experience a mental illness this year, we want to increase the awareness and educational components as well as the financial means of insuring that these individuals can obtain the necessary treatment to lead productive, meaningful lives. On May 2nd, our team will walk Main street in Columbia, South Carolina with pride so that others may know that mental illness is not meant to be lived in secret with shame, but with support. Let's celebrate the important role of mental health and recovery in our community!
