Adolescent substance use is the largest preventable and most expensive public health problem in the US. Researchers declared teen smoking, drinking, misusing prescription drugs and using illegal drugs a public health epidemic.
Yet massive government cuts have slashed funding for school-based drug and alcohol prevention programs, leaving schools with little or no resources to teach our kids about the risks of drug abuse.
No family should lose a child to the powerful forces of addiction. Families need you to make the Courage to Speak Foundation’s work possible so we can be there for all families.
Help us reach students, parents and educators before risky behaviors begin with effective tools to keep children safe from drugs. Your support will help the Courage to Speak Foundation continue our drug prevention education programs for students and parents.
We are dedicated to protecting the health and wellness of children but we can’t do it without you. Together we can turn the tide on this public health epidemic.
