BENEFITING: COVENANT HOUSE NEW ORLEANS
ORGANIZER: COVENANT HOUSE NEW ORLEANS
EVENT DATE: Apr 04, 2015
Hello beautiful people,
I have been a volunteer at Covenant House for the past three months. I have seen first hand what an amazing and valuable place this is. Covenant House gives our kids the opportunity to get off the streets and teaches them step by step how to make a better life for themselves. This not just a shelter! This place breaks the cycle by giving kids the tools they need to provide for themselves and to learn how to become a compassionate and successful member of our society. The kids are bright, kind, and eager to turn their lives around. Please join me in contributing to this invaluable resource. We are all a link in the chain that makes this city and ultimately this world a better place. Infinite love and blessings to you all, Renee

ABOUT COVENANT HOUSE:
Covenant House was founded on the edge of the French Quarter over 25 years ago to provide a safe haven for homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth. We have provided over 20,000 kids with food, shelter, clothing, medical care, educational and vocational support, individual and family counseling, job readiness and placement, short & long-term housing, life skills, and more. The vast majority of our youth have endured physical and/or sexual abuse and have also experienced the violence of the streets.
