THE STORY:

Cell Phones for Soldiers is a registerd, non-profit organization founded by Massachusetts teens Robbie and Brittany Bergquist in 2004 with a meager $21 out of their own pockets. Their mission is to provide American soldiers serving overseas with prepaid calling cards so they can stay in contact with their families back home. Through generous donations and the recycling of used cell phones, they have raised almost 2 million dollars and provided more than 500,000 calling cards to soldiers serving in the Armed Forces.

Nearly 130 million cell phones are discarded or thrown in drawers and forgotten about each year in the US. The small sacrifice of donating unwanted phones can make all the difference to those serving overseas and their families. So please donate your thoughts, your money, your cell phones, and most importantly your time, which so many have sacrificed for you.
