We are excited to announce the beginning of the 2016 Legal Aid Society Associates’ Campaign. Cravath has a long tradition of supporting Legal Aid through annual Firm giving, the Associates' Campaign and board membership (Christine Varney is currently on the board; former board members include Rich Clary, Stu Gold and Frank Barron). Please help us continue this tradition of giving to an important provider of legal services for the poor in New York City.
Legal Aid provides urgently needed help to tens of thousands of low-income New Yorkers every year; 80% of Legal Aid's clients earn $15,000 or less annually. Funds raised through this campaign are used exclusively for civil matters, assisting New York’s most vulnerable, including senior citizens, children and adults with disabilities, survivors of domestic violence, immigrants, low-wage workers, and homeless and imminently homeless children and adults.
Last year’s Associates' Campaign raised over $400,000 through donations from 1,500 law-firm associates city-wide. Please join the effort and help make a difference. Please click here to donate to the Campaign, and select Cravath as your "Team". All contributions are tax deductible and you will receive a receipt from Legal Aid for your taxes.
Thank you for your continued support, and please reach out with any questions.
