Create a LOOP
Organized by: Darren Jackson
I'm currently starting a nonprofit that builds a community of young creatives (mainly 20's & 30's) who help create campaigns using their talents to raise money and awareness for children living in poverty.
Our first campaign is in partnership with Solea Water helping them to collect old shoes that are sold to a buyer who recycles them to keep them out of landfills and gives us back the money to create access to clean water for kids! Our goal is to throw a party at the end of 2015 and collect 200 pairs of shoes and raise $3,500 to provide clean water to 100 families in Belize for 10 years!
The cool thing is, because we're not our own official 501c3 yet, we have a fiscal sponsor (someone who lends their 501c3 status in order to help a startup nonprofit raise tax-deductible money and start it's services until it launches) named Hope Build (they help provide programs and plant urban gardens serving children in poverty) who is helping us to make all of this possible! So, a percentage of everything we raise goes back to them, helping them to plant more urban gardens and serve more children as well. We're doing a lot this year and we need your help!
We technically need $50,000 to complete our campaign but we need $10,000 to even get started. We need to purchase campaign supplies, hire our team, and begin working on the campaign to help these kids.
Please support us by donating $100 or more, or whatever you can give is always appreciated!
