BENEFITING: FRANKIE LEMMON FOUNDATION INC
EVENT DATE: Jan 01, 2013
As many of you may know, I serve on the board for the Frankie Lemmon Foundation, which benefits the Frankie Lemmon School. The school provides tuition-free instruction and support to 3- to 6-year-old children with developmental disabilities. It also provides support and education for the families of these very special children. It's an unbelievable program, and supporting it is the best work that I do.
Today, with your help, I am launching a community-based annual campaign to help with funding the many needs of this wonderful program. From purchasing and maintaining technical teaching tools, to supporting salaries for teachers and therapists, your support defines the potential of this program.
I am setting a personal fundraising goal of $80,000. I know that together as a community, we can achieve this. As we advance in supporting and strengthening the Frankie Lemmon School, we continue to build a wonderful model that other communities can study and implement for ALL children in need. Where there are children in need, community should know no boundaries.
To get the ball rolling, I am making a personal donation of $1,000. I hope you'll consider giving what you can, and perhaps inspiring a friend or neighbor to do the same. I am continually humbled by the generosity of this community of great friends and even greater causes. I hope you will consider rising to this challenge with me. Let's do this… together.
Your friend in community,
