Creative Veteran Looking To Simplify And Survive
Organized by: Rick Paoletti
I am Rick Paoletti, and I live with my companion Asha. We live in Southern California, and have had quite the tumble through the past few years. I am a physically hindered veteran with minimal as can be VA support, and leu has turned to a worsening condition that has forced me to choose food or rent or medicine, and 2 years, nothing has gotten better. Cost of living here is outrageous, and jobs are minimal, with the best deal around is cleaning toilets for 10 hours a week minimum wage (my job). With that to survive off of, I had researched how to live in a tiny house lifestlye, downsizing and minimalizing, but the big holdout again was financial. Can't keep from drowning if I can't swim in the first place. So I have decided Oct 1st will be my move date to Eugene, OR; where for a minimal price I can rent to own for max 3 years my own starter tiny home! I will have enough to have the first payment and delivery, but for the low price these do come empty, no hookups or power lines or shower or running water ect. My purpose of this campaign is to be able to raise to do a diy household, (fund building the outside stall shower, a makeshift kitchen, a heater, and a generator for power, basic home amenities.) that my pup and I can begin to live not in shambles and head held high again.
