ORGANIZER: Crohns Colitis
EVENT: Pittsburgh Marathon 2017
EVENT DATE: May 07, 2017
I will be running the Pittsburgh Half Marathon as a Charity Runner for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. This foundation is special to me because my brother, Bobby and my cousin, Dezerea both have Crohn's Disease. Crohn's is in incurable disease that both have to live with. My cousin has had parts of her intestine removed due to Crohn's. My brother was medially discharged from the Army in 2003 due to his development of Crohn's.
This is my third half marathon, and we appreciate any donations you can make.

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to finding cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Over 1.6 million Americans are directly impacted by these debilitating diseases. CCFA exists to fund cutting edge research, provide support services and to overall improve the quality of life of those living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
The dollars you raise as a CCFA Team Challenge participant through the Pittsburgh Marathon go directly to the local chapter and help CCFA with its mission. We encourage you to learn more, fundraise and join us!
