Many of you now that I work at Crossings TV, the only multicultural television station serving the growing Asian and Russian communities of the greater Central Valley of California. Through my work and community involvement, I have had the honor of working with many diverse organizations with wonderful missions, like My Sister’s House. I myself am an advocate against domestic violence, and I am proud to participate in the 10th Annual 5K Run for a Safe Haven.
My Sister’s House and Crossings TV had a wonderful partnership that produced a series of televised episodes entitled Healthy Relationships. The series depicts cultural aspects in healthy and unhealthy relationships. Since the series initially aired, people across a variety of linguistic and cultural backgrounds have become aware about family violence. Some have sought services from My Sister’s House and readily received help to build safer lives. This is an organization that provides effective outreach and services to meet the needs of the under-served communities affected by domestic violence and human trafficking in the Central Valley.
Join me, my family, friends and my colleagues in participating in the 10th Annual 5k Run for a Safe Haven to benefit My Sister’s House. Start your own team or join my team.
