Cornerstone OnDemand (www.csod.com) is excited to participate in the 2012 Honda LA Marathon – and raise funds for a local disaster relief agency!
Eighteen Cornerstone team members have committed to running the marathon in support of Operation USA (www.opusa.org), a Los Angeles-based organization that helps communities at home and abroad overcome the effects of disasters, disease and endemic poverty by providing privately-funded relief, reconstruction and development aid. The agency has worked in 99 countries and delivered over $300 million for relief and development projects since 1979.
Of course, this also aligns with the mission of the Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation (http://www.cornerstoneondemand.org), which works to empower communities across the globe by investing in and increasing the impact of non-profits that focus on education, job training, and disaster relief.
Show your support of the Cornerstone running team and DONATE NOW to Operation USA!
If you donate…
$1000, you can send 8 children in Nicaragua to school for a year
$250, you will feed 10 children in Haiti a free daily meal at school for a month
$100, you support the delivery of donated medications (worth many times this amount) to community health clinics throughout the United States
$50, you purchase a starter flock of 20 chickens and one rooster for a rural family in Cambodia
$25, you provide a family in Africa with mosquito nets, which simply but effectively fight the spread of malaria
Any amount, you will empower 18 very grateful runners!
