BENEFITING: Save a Childs Heart Foundation US
EVENT DATE: Feb 14, 2014
"When are you going to cook/bake me something yummy, Jane?"
All too often I promise a friend or a colleague that something tasty will pop-up on their doorstep. This Valentine's day, I am fulfilling these promises, all while raising money for a great cause. The idea is simple: donate $10 (or more, if you so choose) in exchange for a surprise Valentine's Day confection. Yes, it will be cute, sweet, delicious (duh) and delivered to your humble abode. Send a surprise to yourself, your girlfriend, your brother... anyone! Make this holiday truly about spreading the love by participating in the first-annual Caramelized Sarcasm Valentine's Day Surprise!
Here are the details:
All I ask is that you donate $10 to Save A Child's Heart, an Israeli-based international humanitarian project, whose mission is to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries who suffer from heart disease. SACH believes that every child deserves the best medical treatment available, regardless of nationality, religion, color, gender or financial situation.
Once you do that, please send an email to: CSVDaySurprise@gmail.com
Include your name and the address where you would like the Valentine's Day Surprise delivered (Brooklyn & Manhattan ONLY). Please specify the name of the recipient and any special delivery instructions.
During the week of Valentine's Day, myself (and a trusty team of assistants) are going to drop off a small package at your doorstep. Eat it, savour it, and share it with your loved one.
***Please note, because I am organizing this myself, surprise confection delivery is only available for Brooklyn and Manhattan. However, anyone is welcome to donate and/or arrange a pickup.***
