Cass Tech Class of 2005 Scholarship
Organized by: Jaison Oliver
As graduates of Cass Technical High School, we have been given a wealth of educational and social opportunities that have enabled us to enter the broader world as leaders, better prepared to excel and respond to society’s complex questions.
Forever Technicians who pull as we climb, we have also been bestowed a mantle of responsibility to support each other. We must reach back to the place that gave us so much, and contribute to the process of assisting the next generation of technicians in discovering their greatness. Expeditiously.
Our goal is to reach out to our graduating class and the greater community to raise no less than $5000. During the summer of 2015 the funds will be allocated in the following forms:
- A fellowship awarded to Cass Tech students in their sophomore year.
- A scholarship awarded to a member of the Class of 2005 who is currently continuing their education while being active in the community.
As alumni of one of Detroit's most prestigious high schools, it is imperative that our class takes an interest in guiding and supporting today's youth to pursue post-secondary education. Moreover, we want to encourage members of the Class of 2005 to continue their own academic journeys and become the leaders our city needs.
Please take a moment to donate to this worthy cause. Tax-exempt donations may also be made either online or by check to the Detroit Public Schools Foundation with the note "Cass Tech 2005." Further details are provided here.
