CuddleCot for NYP Hospital - In loving memory of Nino

NYP Cuddlecot Donation
November 09, 2016
Our son, Nino Ilan, was born sleeping on August 29, 2015. He was chubby, had dark, curly hair, looked just like his big sister, and was perfect. Although his life was brief, his spirit and love will live on in our hearts.
Many have asked us what they can do to help. If you are able, we ask that you make a donation in memory of Nino to go towards donating a CuddleCot to New York Presbyterian Hospital. A CuddleCot is a device that allows families who lose an infant to spend more time with their baby by allowing the baby to stay in the hospital with the family even for a couple of days. The hospital where Nino was born does not have a CuddleCot, and we want to purchase one in his honor to give other families experiencing infant death a gift we didn't get to have -- the gift of more time. It will make the transition for families saying hello and goodbye too soon to their babies a little bit softer.
If you are interested in learning more about the CuddleCot, this video explains it further: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ni7yVNvmA_E
Please share with others interested in helping.
With love, Tamara, Ivory and Lia
