EVENT DATE: Jul 31, 2016
This year, I will be running the SF Half Marathon and doing a fundraiser for CUESA's Foodwise Kids program. Foodwise kids is an amazing program run by CUESA that I have volunteered with on Thursdays for the past 9 months. It teaches public elementary school students in San Francisco and Oakland about the farmers market. We instruct them about local, organic food grown nearby, take them shopping in the market, and then help them cook the food they purchased. It is a great learning experience for the kids that teaches them about healthy eating in a beautiful setting.
Please help support me and Foodwise Kids. It is a great cause, and your donation will be greatly appreciated!

Team CUESA is running to raise funds for Foodwise Kids, our free farm-to-table field trip and cooking class for San Francisco public elementary school students.
Growing strong kids begins with introducing healthy eating habits from a young age. Using the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market as a dynamic classroom, Foodwise Kids starts youth on track for a lifetime of healthy eating through fresh produce tastings, exploring the market, and a hands-on cooking lesson. The program serves over 2,250 students each year, the majority of whom come from low-resourse households.
Set San Francisco youth up for healthy living by supporting Team CUESA in our race to empower the next generation of healthy eaters.
