EVENT: #STARTARYOT Challenge
Cure Alzheimer's Fund was started in 2004 by three families frustrated with the slow pace and risk-averse nature of research. Scientists with promising ideas were waiting months, if not years, to get grants due to lengthy application processes. And even today, the vast majority of money spent on Alzheimer's goes towards patient care, not towards finding a cure or understanding the causes of the disease.
Cure Alzheimer's Fund is committed to achieving this understanding, with the eventual goal of creating drugs that can prevent the disease, stop its progression, or even reverse it. Because of the continued support of our founders, who cover all our operating costs, we can proudly say that 100% of all donations go directly to research.
