BENEFITING: Sarcoma Foundation of America
Sarcomas are rare cancers and funds for research are needed to help find a cure. Our mom passed away July 31, 2014 from a rare sarcoma called Leiomyosarcoma. Many sarcomas grow undetected until they are too large to treat or remove. Our mom went through the most invasive form of chemotherapy, 72 hours of continuous drip, so unforgiving to her body, which only made the tumor grow by 50%. She never regained strength to try a different treatment and the cancer took her life. So please take a moment to check out this page, and share it with your friends and family. Her daughter Aime completed her 10x10 challenge and was awarded the Elite award from the 10x10 club. Her other children will also run anywhere from 5k's, 10k's, half marathons, and full marathons in her honor in hopes to raise more funds to find a cure.....so please pass this along in memory of our dear mom. Thank you.
