BENEFITING: CureSearch for Children’s Cancer
In January 2011 my son Will was diagnosed with Leukemia and he has been on a 3 and a half year treatment journey. During his journey we have seen firsthand what CureSearch does. It is a remarkable organization doing great work. Will has been participating in a trial that they fund. He has been an inspiring warrior.
CureSearch for Children's Cancer is a national non-profit foundation that funds and supports targeted and innovative children's cancer research, with measurable results. They work to accelerate a cure for children's cancer by driving innovation, eliminating research barriers and solving the field's most challenging problems. They work every day to make treatment possible and a cure.
They do this in three ways:
They accelerate the cure for children at greatest risk of losing their battle with cancer by posing essential challenges to scientists and inviting teams to overcome them with novel research approaches.
They support children's enrollment in clinical trials that have the potential to save their lives today.
They provide resources and education, so no child faces a cancer diagnosis without a fully equipped support team behind them.
Ultimately, CureSearch is working to change the odds for those children most at risk.
We are simply giving up the razor for a month and telling the story and raising funds in hopes to help little heroes everywhere!
