BENEFITING: Saha Global
EVENT DATE: Dec 28, 2011
I have recently been accepted to join the Community Water Solutions Fellowship Program. This CWS Fellowship Program is a three week water education and leadership training experience that will take place in Northern Region of Ghana, Africa. The purpose of this Fellowship is to teach individuals about the global water crisis, and inspire them to become leaders in the field of international development. Community Water Solutions is a non-for-profit social enterprise that partners with rural communities in developing countries to establish sustainable water treatment businesses. This 2012 Winter Fellowship program will take place over this Christmas break from December 27th to January 17th .During this time I will be traveling to Tamale, Ghana. In order to participate I will need to raise $2,500 to cover my in-country expenses while in Africa (this includes my in-country travel, lodging and food, project costs, training and educational materials, translator salaries, and transportation. This donation does not cover my flight to Ghana or any of the travel vaccinations that are required).
I would greatly appreciate any donation that you could make towards helping me raise the $2,500 that I need in order to participate in this program! Every little bit counts! : )
