Cycling for Bible Quizzers
Organized by: Jared Hill
Made it to Madawaska - Over 1000 miles cycled
May 21, 2016
For eight years I have been involved in the Teen Bible Quiz ministry of Living Hope Worship Center in Swedesboro, NJ. I was a quizzer myself for five years and have now coached for the past three years. This year, my team of four quizzers has qualified for a trip to National Finals in Springfield, Missouri. They have memorized the book of Acts, with two of them earning their National Memorization Award by quoting each chapter (28 chapters) with four or less words wrong. To fundraise, I am cycling over 10,500 miles. My route begins and ends in New Jersey and takes me to the four outermost corners of the forty-eight states (Madawaska, Seattle, San Diego, and Key West). I have already begun this journey. You can see updates of my trip at https://www.instagram.com/jaredahill. I cannot stress enough how important my Bible Quiz experience is to me. My goal is have others share in the same benifits as I did in high school and to help them pursue year-long goals at nationals as they finish up this season of quiz.
