It was a powerful tropical cyclone that caused substantial damage in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, India, in early October 2013. There was reported loss of $696 million. Wind speed reached 260 km/h and it nearly destroyed all of costal villages. With a reported loss of official 45 casualities and unofficialy 93 it was the worst cyclone in last 12 years. Flood After Cyclone Phailin
Most of the damage happened due to the heavy rain that took place after cyclone. Heavy rain from 23 Oct to 27 Oct casued flood in so many cities of Odisha.
Total damage caused by both flood and cyclone was nearly $1 billion dollar.
What Is Our Goal
We are not trying to raise fund for all the affected people over Odisha. Frankly $103,696 is far less money to accomplish that cause. We will build wooden homes which will estimately hold about 1090-2018 people. That's all!
Your fund can create smile in faces of millions. Sure you donate everyday for personal causes like cancer or cure of a dieased kid. All that money just goes to the cause of that child only. Here is a chance you can help millions of people. Please don't hold yourselves back. Come forward and help people in need.
Make A Smile In The Faces Of Children
Nov 14 is celebrated as Children's Day in India. But still there are so many children like yours who don't have a roof over their head yet. Don't you want to see a smile on their faces? Or do you just want to leave them as they are?
