Help Daddy Rex
Organized by: Chad Joyce
Who is Rex Grandstaff? Rex is a small town business owner who runs Daddy Rex's Twisted Barbecue, the best Barbecue joint around. He is a Christian, a wonderful father, and a great husband. He consistently donates food and is always at high school games supporting our teams. He knows no stranger, never ceases to share a handshake and a smile, and is one of the most genuine people you would ever meet. Rex went in for surgery on Monday, Dec 14, to have a brain aneurysm removed and they found a second one which burst, as well as an additional clogged main artery. He has been put in a medically induced coma, as his recovery efforts have caused additional trauma to his brain. In numerous responses to how people can help, Rex's beautiful wife, Karen, has asked for everyone to eat at the restaurant to support the staff and families of Daddy Rex's Twisted Barbecue. Rex has a tremendous passion for cooking and the restaurant and knowing that his staff is taken care of at this time would warm his heart. We know that not everyone will be able to visit the restaurant, so we are asking for donations to help keep the restaurant running and support the family and staff of Daddy Rex's Twisted Barbecue. Money raised would also go to help out with medical bills, copays, after surgery therapy and prescriptions, etc. We realize you won't be able to enjoy the great taste of Daddy Rex's barbecue just by donating, but you can enjoy the blessings of helping out a beautiful family who would do the same for you.
