Dakota's Panama Spanish Trip!
Organized by: Sidney Balfour
Dakota is raising money to send himself on an 8 day educational spanish
trip to Panama. He is going through the touring company Education First
(EF). This money will go toward round-trip flights, 7 overnight stays in
a hotel, and two meals daily. Not only will this money pay for that, but
it pays for all of the activities, including: a trip to the Panama Viejo
Ruins and Museum, Miraflore Looks Visitor Center, El Valle de Anton
hiking trails, Biomuseo, Portobelo Ruins, Canopy Tour, Gatun Lake boat
ride, School Visit, Panama hat making demonstration, and a trip to
Embera Indigenous Village.
This trip would take place right after Dakota graduates from Bellingham High School in June 2017. Panama would be the graduation gift of a lifetime! This trip would mean a lot to Dakota because he has never been on an airplane, or visited anywhere out of the state or country. As a high school student who plays Varsity Football and Track, Dakota has very little time to make money outside of school. He will be getting a job this summer which will help him raise money for the trip, but other than that he needs help with paying for this amazing trip. Thank you so much!
