Back on My Feet does not provide food or shelter, but instead provides a community that offers coaching, resources, financial aid, job training and access to employment opportunities. Our distinctive program takes a holistic approach to combatting homelessness. The program addresses the social, emotional, physical, and economic needs of each Member. The Back on My Feet family of staff, volunteers, and Members treat one another as equals and friends and greet each other with hugs every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at dawn prior to running together as a team. The team atmosphere helps build confidence and self-esteem in each Member through creating a positive environment that couples high expectations for personal responsibility with the support and resources to effect meaningful change.
