BENEFITING: Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children
ORGANIZER: Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children
EVENT: 2015 Dallas Marathon
EVENT DATE: Dec 13, 2015
Many of you know that I have taken up running over the last 3 years, and it has changed my life and others as well. Every run raises money for good causes, which makes the effort worthwhile. I have dedicated runs to family and friends, but I have never asked for contributions... until now. I have run numerous half marathons, but this is my first full marathon. I have dedicated several months of training, sacrifices and preparation for this event, and I want to make the effort impactful to a worthy cause. My ask is for a minimum $1 per mile donation, which equates to $26.20 for this event. My goal is to reach total committments of at least $40 per mile to reach a total contribution of $1,048. I can't express how much it will mean to me knowing that there's $ going to Scottish Rite Hospital for every mile I run. Thank you so much for any contribution you can make.
