I'm a foster parent. I see first hand what the negligence of irresponsible pet ownership has done to our community, and believe that the pets deserve better. They didn't ask to be bred and sold to the first goober that showed up in a Wal-Mart parking lot, they didn't ask to be dumped in the street or dropped of at a shelter to be killed within a few days when that person no longer wanted them.
We can make the world a better place, but we need your help! Most of the dogs still need even the most basic veterinary care such as vaccinations and spay/neuter, and many need even more in depth care such as heartworm treatment or surgery to repair an injury. That's where you come in!
Please consider donating even a small amount to help Dallas Pets Alive reach it's goal of $5,000 to care for these pets in need. Just sacrificing one cup of coffee or one trip to McDonalds would go a long way to saving the life of a homeless pet in Dallas.
