Dana's fight to save her family
Organized by: Graced Mercy
Please pray for my family. We have gone through a lot and I'm tired. No matter what, I trust G-d in this thing but it's hard when you are homeless with children. I have 5 school aged children, 4 of the 5 are honor students in spite of what we are going through. Pictures of my children are shown in the campaign. Their ages are 17 (Daeja), 13 (Don), 12 (Naomi), 10 (Daniel) and 5 (Tristyn).
We are currently homeless. I had to make a very hard decision whether to relocate my family or be continuously harassed by a human trafficking gang that had taken my teenaged daughter. Once she was recovered, I chose to relocate and trust God.
I have always been a good mom to my children and having them homeless is the worst fear a mom could have. My pride and ego is out the window at this point. We had to sleep in the car until I could gather funds to rent a weekly room.
I am a giver and have been my whole life. When I was small, everyone cared and got together to pitch in and help. Nowadays it seems not worth the effort to tell anyone what your going through because of the inevitable judgement that will come your way. However, I was trained that when you ask the creator for help it shall be given. I'm asking for help.
I need a safe place for me and the children to live so that I can get back to work and not worry about where we are going to lay our heads. I need clothes, shoes, furniture everything. I had to leave everything behind. There was no way to bring anything with us out of state. I used $670.00 to leave.
I thank G-d for everyone who took the time to read this. I am still thankful for his grace and mercy everyday no matter what it looks like. May G-d bless you, encourage you, light the way in the midst of darkness and bring you above all things, love.
