The Story

FUNDRAISER SET UP DEADLINE: Nov 20, 2014

Join DAL and Novapac to raise money to fight pediatric brain cancer.  A sister of one of our own DAL competition dancers, Sara Willis, is being treated for two suspected germinona brain tumors.   She underwent a biopsy on November 4th.

We will be dancing November 22nd from 6:00-10:00pm to raise money for Smashing Walnuts.  Donations are tax deductible to the Peidmont Community Foundation

Start your own page to help fight cancer and join us Nov. 22nd.  Get your friends to donate.

Brain tumors are one of the deadliest forms of childhood cancer.  When Gabrielle Mller was nine years old, she was diagnosed with a walnut-sized inoperable brain tumor.  Gabriella’s family literally began smashing walnuts with a frying pan as a symbolic gesture to support her battle against her tumor.

It was Gabriella's wish that we find a cure for brain cancer.   Smashing Walnuts Foundation raises awareness of and funds for finding a cure for childhood brain cancer.
