Jeremy is inspired to support the South & Central American Programs of Water For People because his second language is Spanish. He met a volunteer from the earthquake in Haiti (two years after) and he gave Jeremy a good piece of advice: “Join an organization where you can leverage your language skills to support their programs – don’t come to Haiti, you don’t speak French or Creole".
Jeremy has been endurance running since 2010. Jeremy has been ethusiastically dancing since 1988. (And Jeremy used to be a disc jockey.) While the cardio benefit of running is wonderful, Jeremy likes to spontaneously incorporate freestyle dance moves into his runs (as evident by the video attached).
Jeremy is participating in a variety of 5K, 10K, 15K, half-marathons, fun-runs, and obstacle courses throughout Denver and the west coast in 2013. Please contact him if you would like to join him at any of these events. He would happy to have others (family, friends, colleagues, and nomads) join him! He can be reached on the Dance Run Water Facebook page, on Twitter, or via e-mail.
