BENEFITING: HABITAT FOR HUMANITY-REBUILD MICHIGAN
EVENT: Mighty Mac Swim 2016
EVENT DATE: Sep 05, 2016
Hi, my name is Dan CasaSanta. I live on the shores of Lake Michigan in Northern Michigan. I’ve been swimming for most of my life beginning at a community pool in Indiana and concluding with a college swimming career. Since college, I’ve continued to swim during the summer months in Little Traverse Bay, which is the lakefront for the Bay View Association, just North of Petoskey, MI.
I’m thrilled to have been selected to participate in the 2016 version of the Mighty Mac swim. For many years, I’ve completed the Labor Day walk across the bridge with my family; whom I owe the inspiration to for accepting the good natured challenge to check this one off of the bucket list!
As you consider your charitable giving choices for 2016, I am hopeful you will be drawn to support Habitat for Humanity of Michigan. This organization serves many respectful and deserving people throughout Michigan. Whether they are staffing the various resale shops, building ramps for disabled adults or building homes for families needing a boost, the organization is making a difference in communities across Michigan.
I pledge to you…I am preparing for this event as my swimming highlight for 2016. I will do my absolute best to honor your faith in me and in Habitat for Humanity of Michigan.
