Michael Ortega's Fundraiser:

Daniel's Second Chance Fundraiser

Michael Ortega

This fundraiser is for my brother, Daniel Ortega, who has ADHD and Bipolar disorder. He has academic and social disabilities and is currently serving a 6-year prison term at a Colorado prison for an aggravated scuffle with his former girlfriend, who also was Bipolar and came from a broken family.

While the acts itself it not condonable, many people make mistakes from learning from their surroundings and not having the proper family guidance to set their upbringing. Daniel has been abused psychologically and verbally from his paternal side of the family and had lived in chaos for over 15 years. He is currently undergoing treatment at a minimum security facility and has even some vocational training inside like cleaning fish and woodworking.

His father passed recently in February, leaving nothing but debt and angst among others, including my brother. This only assistance he has is from his mom and myself.

The costs of the phone calls and food are overwhelming, plus he owes court fees from two trials totaling to $2,000. Before getting into trouble, he attended college and flunked some classes, but also took a $2,700 loan from his college to pay his rent out of desperation. Both my mother and myself have no choice but to dedicate to be the "mop-up crew" for his debt and troubles.

Any inquiries will be gladly answered with valid documents and all proceeds are benefited to Daniel Ortega's commissary and Daniel Ortega's creditors, including but not limited to: Front Range Community College, Adams County Justice Center Collections Dept. , Broomfield County Court Collections Dept. , Unique National Collection (Rangeview Library District collector), Convergent Outsourcing (Comcast Cable collector), and others
