Daraja means "bridge" and YOU can be part of this amazing bridge from your heart to the girls in the Daraja Academy in Kenya, Africa.
Jason and Jenni are dedicating their lives to changing the lives of what girls they find who are academically oriented and motivated, but financially unable to get a secondary (high school) education. These amazing people are changing the lives of 26 girls for each class (year, that is, like our high schools) and are on the search for the third class now. Representing over a dozen different tribes and cultures in Kenya, this dormitory school provides all that these girls need for their living, eating, health, and education for at least four years.
YOU can help. Your donation of whatever level will make a huge difference and impact on the lives of these girls, the staff - Kenyan teachers and support staff - and their families and communities. This is not some giant, impersonal corporation or organization. This is the work and life of a couple of loving and devoted dreamers who are surprisingly grounded!
I am so proud of them and this work, of the gifting this represents from our wealth to these girls in need. They would be married off or working the streets were it not for Daraja. They all excelled in their primary school work.
If you are wondering what good anything is, let me tell you: THIS is good.
