It was an amazing experience and I gained a lasting impression of how these girls are so committed and dedicated to their education. I am continuing my support of the school by running the Bay to Breakers race again on May 20th. This year we are a team of 101 runners and an official Bay to Breakers charity partner. I will be partnering again with Nasibo Abdi Wario; last year Nasibo ran the full 7.2 miles (28 laps around the campus) back in Kenya at the same time the Daraja team did the Bay to Breakers race. It was a pleasure to spend time with Nasibo at Daraja and shadow her classes and learn her stories.
