Daryl Woodrum's Leukemia Treatment
Organized by: Debbie Woodrum
Daryl is a 53 year old Optician, father of 5, and an Army National Guard war veteran who most recently served in Iraq and Afghanistan, but also served in Desert Shield during the Gulf War. Daryl was recently diagnosed with Amyloidosis AL, a form of Leukemia (blood cancer). There is no cure and they cannot reverse the damage done so far, but they can treat him to hopefully stop the progression. If he responds well, Daryl could go on to live a very long life! His condition will require high level radiation chemotherapy treatment, as well as a bone marrow transplant down the road. This fundraiser is being set up to help offset the expenses that his treatment will surely bring. Our first goal is $5,000. This will likely change as we learn more about Daryl's financial needs throughout the process. If there is anything you can give, please help. May God bless all who consider meeting this need. Thank you so much!
