Dave needs a new smile!!!
Organized by: david lependorf
Hi everyone. My name is Dave and I was born with a hereditary disease where the teeth have no enamel. My dad also suffered from this and as far as I remember he never had any front teeth on the top or bottom. I can recall my first permanent tooth crumbling at around age 11, long after my baby teeth had fallen out. As an adult the problem has only worsened, crushing the self-confidence of a once handsome guy. As a long time restaurant worker I have never had any kind of dental insurance, and I'm positive this problem has prevented me from aquiring any better job opportunities over the years, without a beautiful smile to offer anyone. From what I know, there is no cure for this hereditary disease, and the only option is to extract my remaining teeth and get a pair of dentures. The estimate is about $8,000 for the dentures. This is not including dentistry fees for before and all is out of pocket without insurance. Anything would help at this point, PLEASE HELP ME LIVE A NORMAL LIFE!
