We just wanted to send a qui…
We just wanted to send a quick thank you for your previous contribution to BSB4MS and to let you know that we’ve lined up our biggest and best campaign yet. We will be seeing Cher on June 4th, and if we break the previous two year’s total of $7644, we’ll go to the show dressed as different versions of Cher. It’s gonna be a total drag.

Obviously we are writing to ask for your help once again to help combat MS, a disease that affects John Simon, one of the co-founders of Sober4MS, as well as millions of others worldwide. We’re very excited at the prospects for this next campaign, and we were recently mentioned by Crowdrise founder and acclaimed-actor Edward Norton on The Today Show. With your continued support we are confident that we can leverage this national attention and take these campaigns to the next level in raising money for MS research…You can learn more at our website, www.sober4ms.com, and donate on our fundraising page, www.crowdrise.com/cher4ms.

In addition to attending the concert (sober) we will also be hosting a pre-event concert/raffle on May 30th at the new Demo in the Grove featuring music from The Jungle Fire, Bobby Stevens, and comedy from Kelsey McClure. Details can be found on our facebook page (facebook.com/cher4ms) or at the event page: www.facebook.com/events/1494540230761565.

We do apologize if you have already contributed to the recent campaign or are receiving this message for the second time. Unfortunately there isn’t a perfect way to do this through the donation site as of yet…Once again thank you so much for your continued support!

Well this is a few days over…
Well this is a few days overdue, but John, Jason and I would like to say thanks for all the incredible support you all have shown in helping fight Multiple Sclerosis and for having such a great sense of humor while we acted like complete idiots.

We're confident that the $4400+ we raised will be put to great use with the Gateway Chapter of the MS Society, and truly hope that you got your money's worth in sending us to see the Backstreet Boys. Quite honestly, it was simultaneously terrible and incredibly fun.

The work begins soon on figuring out how we're going to top this next year, and feel free to reach out to us if you have a fundraising passion of your own and would like some input/help.

Best-

Over a year ago your contrib…
Over a year ago your contributions raised $3146 for Multiple Sclerosis research and sent us to see the worst band in the world, Creed. For this we are obviously conflicted: grateful for supporting the MS Society and still scarred from the hit to our pristine rock'n'roll reputations.

As many of you know (and many have offered generous contributions) we are back this year, seeing the Backstreet Boys with DJ Pauly DJ. It promises to be worse as we may be getting spray tans, chin-strap beards, and frosted tips.

Please help us continue to fight MS and support our efforts at www.crowdrise.com/bsb4ms

Thanks again!

We’d be lying if we told you…
We’d be lying if we told you that we thought this idea would make over $3100 to fund MS research through the Gateway Chapter of the MS Society. The fact that over 100 people in total donated to the cause may be even more impressive, and many more were responsible for spreading the word via facebook and helping out in other ways. Thank you all so very much for your generosity, support, and having a great sense of humor about this nonsense. It was an amazingly humbling and rewarding project that could not have happened without the contributions of everyone involved.

At the very least we were able to raise some awareness and money about a very noble cause, and we hope that some of you will feel inspired to take on a charitable project of your own. While John and I don’t necessarily have another stunt lined up, we want to continue projects like this on an annual or semi-annual basis. Also we would like to return the favor for any fundraisers that may be dear to you and will happily help in any way that we can. Please feel free to contact us with any questions (serious or not), suggestions or if you have any ideas you’d like to bounce off the two of us. We’d love to collaborate on something else in the future.

Thanks once again for your generosity, and in the coming weeks we’ll have some great footage from the Creed show that we’ll post on facebook and youtube. Everyone got their money’s worth and more. It was terrible.
