Rhoda Weisman, the visionary founder of Hillel’s Steinhardt Jewish Campus Service Corps will be honored at Hillel International’s Renaissance Gala on Wednesday, May 18th, at the Pierre in New York City. Rhoda will be receiving the Edgar M. Bronfman award, which is presented in his memory to a Hillel professional who has served the movement with distinction and honor.
Rhoda previously spent more than a decade as the Chief Creative Officer at Hillel. Hundreds of JCSC alumni and other Jewish professionals have been moved by Rhoda’s energy, creativity and passion for building the next generation of engaged Jews and Jewish leaders.
The JCSC Program, one of Hillel’s most successful ventures, is being relaunched as a re-envisioned Fellowship for this generation as Springboard. Springboard will integrate learning from JCSC and other Jewish leadership programs, and elements from the worlds of innovation and social media to engage students of all backgrounds.
All gifts made in Rhoda’s honor will be targeted directly to support Springboard and launch this exciting new initiative. We invite you to consider a gift of $180 to honor Rhoda. Please make yours today and help us reach our goal of $36,000. And pass this link to others who know Rhoda, or who care about building a strong Jewish community.
