Not Alone is raising awareness and money for our cause through the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C. on October 27, 2013. This year we're making it easier than ever to let all of our runners, volunteers and supporters get involved and help make a difference by partnering with CrowdRise.
To Register for Not Alone's Charity Team, click the big "Register" button.
To Donate just click the big "Donate" button and choose the runner you want to donate to.
How it works:
Participants will pay a registration fee to join the team to be registered for the race as a charity runner.
Your registration fee includes receiving the full benefits of the race as a charity runner, including but not limited to the race t-shirt, race medal, race expo and post-race festivities.
In order to earn race entry, team t-shirt, and team dinner at a D.C. restaurant the night before the event, you must raise a minimum of $350. (Your registration fee will count toward this minimum.)
Additional incentives and prizes such as your D.C. hotel room, airline gift card, and more can be earned by achieving other fundraising goals!
Not Alone staff member Melanie Blair will serve as your coach and assist you with both your marathon training AND your fundraising to help ensure that you reach all your goals! Once you register to join the team, create your personal fundraising page here on Crowdrise. Your team registration fee will be added to your personal fundraising page by Not Alone.
Upon registration, you’ll receive a team information packet from Melanie Blair. This will be full of training information, fundraising tips, etc. Don’t be nervous – you WILL succeed at completing the race AND raising the funds to help more returning war veterans and their families!
