Hi Rochey!!!
I just wanted to say thank you for donating to my fundraiser for Gary Resnick. Gary meant so much to me as not only one of my runners when I first started this business but as my very dear friend. Something we all share as runners is our friendship and I miss him EVERY day. Love and thanks. xoxo.

Stuff About Me:

I live in Mansfield, MA with my wife, Kristin and three children, David, Brendan and Emma.

I have never considered myself a runner.  After having knee surgery in 2005, the thought of running never crossed my mind.  It wasn't until the summer of 2008 that I started running.  I didn't start running to enter road races or to compete, it was just a way to keep in shape.  I enjoy running, because to me, it is mental and physical therapy.

Over the past year, running has taken up new meaning for me.  My running translates into families fighting cancer getting financiaI assistance to help pay their home bills.  Thinking of what these families are going through motivates me even more to train harder and fundraise harder.

I had the opportunity to train for the 2012 Boston Marathon and had the privilege of meeting some amazing people through CharityTeams.  And the prospect of running for such an amazing charity was very exciting.  Unfortunately due to injury, I had to withdraw from running the marathon.

The 2013 Boston Marathon will be my first marathon and I could not be more proud to raise money for The Joe Andruzzi Foundation.  Watching what the Andruzzi's have over the past ten years, since our families met, is simply amazing.  They have touched so many lives and have contributed so much to the community.  I couldn't imagine running for another charity.
