BENEFITING: Felines, Inc.
This July, I will be running a marathon in Montana. With my 40th marathon quickly approaching, I am asking people to join me in supporting the non-profit Felines and Canines. This Chicago shelter was founded in 1977 as one of the first cage less and no-kill shelters and now supports more than 400 adoptions a year. They specialize in at-risk animals including cats with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Our family cat Prince contracted Feline Leukemia Virus, and so I am impressed with and moved by the work that Felines and Canines does.
