BENEFITING: Clinton Global Initiative
Even though it has been more than two weeks since the initial impact of Hurricane Sandy, families, communities, and cities are still experiencing its devastating effects. While some progress has been made, there is still a long way to go to for families and communities to fully recover.
To support our neighborhoods and communities in New York City that have been significantly affected by Hurricane Sandy, the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative are taking action to help with relief efforts. On Sunday, November 18, we will bring people and organizations together to join us for a day of volunteering in a community – one where many of our employees, partners, and friends live and work – that is still picking up the pieces.
1,000 volunteers have signed up to join us, President Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton, to participate in this Day of Action for New York.
Recovery will not be easy for everyone, but with your help, our homes, communities, and cities can begin to make progress. As we've seen through our work, when people come together, we can make a greater impact than any one person or group can do alone.
Unable to join us? You can join our efforts by supporting the volunteers who have committed to join us this Sunday. Just click on the Donate button and sponsor one of our awesome volunteers and help support our clean up efforts.
Or, go a step further and click on the Create Your Own Fundraising Page to launch your own fundraiser and raise money alongside our volunteers.
Thanks so much for your support. Together we can make a real, tangible impact for NY.
